Several years ago, a patron approached me to do a cast of her pregnant torso. After the completion of that torso, I began receiving many requests to create more torsos and belly casts. However, the artist in me wanted to take these creations to a new level; making each one even more unique. I began painting images onto each torso and belly cast ranging from whimsical animals to famous masterpieces. This was the birth of Artful Expectations.

As I complete each torso and belly cast, I gain a new energy and respect for life. It is exciting to see a mother's loving expectation for her new arrival captured visually for years to come.
